Object of the guarantee
The purpose of the School Civil Liability insurance is to guarantee the school, the directors, the teachers and other employees within the limit of the indemnities fixed in the Special Conditions against the pecuniary consequences of the Civil Liability which they may incur under the terms of the articles 1382, 1383 of the Cameroonian civil code:
- Due to accidents occurring to pupils during the time devoted to "schooling", including the "journey"
- The "School" guarantee is exercised during the time when the pupil is placed under the responsibility of the Insured Institution.
- The "Journey" guarantee is exercised during the journey from the home of the insured student and the Institution.
- Due to accidents caused to third parties by pupils during the journey, including accidents resulting from the practice of sports and the use of a bicycle without an engine.
